Silent Hill 2 Remake Patch 1.07 Introduces Performance Mode Bugs on PS5 and PS5 Pro, Konami Investigating

Konami confirmed on 7 August 2026 it is investigating Performance Mode issues in the Silent Hill 2 remake after Patch 1.07 introduced crushed blacks and overly dark shadows on PS5 and PS5 Pro. The patch was intended to improve fog rendering and image quality. Quality Mode appears unaffected. Konami gave no fix timeline and has not addressed a possible rollback or PC-version impact.
