Earl of Wessex, 18, reported working as farmhand on King's Sandringham estate

The Sun reported on 7 August 2026 that James, Earl of Wessex, the 18-year-old son of Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie, has taken a summer job driving tractors on the 2,700-hectare Sandringham estate in Norfolk — privately owned by the King, not part of the Crown Estate. Buckingham Palace declined to comment.
