Melbourne beat ladder leaders Fremantle 107-97 at the MCG in Round 22 of the 2026 AFL season. The Demons moved to 13-8 and tightened their hold on a finals spot with two rounds left. Fremantle, top of the table going in, fell to just their fifth loss. The Dockers had won six of their previous ten at the MCG since 2022.
