AFL chair apologises for Geelong concussion waiver he presided over as club president

AFL Commission chair Craig Drummond apologised for a secret 2024 Geelong deal requiring Jake Kolodjashnij to carry legal liability for any future head trauma. Drummond, Geelong's president when the waiver was signed, conceded it went "too far." The AFL never approved the deal. Kolodjashnij's agent was unaware. Geelong scrapped the waiver on 6 August. No sanction yet.
