Uefa paid six-figure sum to woman alleged to have had relationship with Infantino, Telegraph reports

A Daily Telegraph investigation published August 7, 2026 reports that Uefa paid a six-figure departure package to a woman alleged to have had a relationship with Gianni Infantino during his 2009–2016 tenure as Uefa general secretary. The woman also received a 30% pay rise to 160,000 Swiss francs. Uefa confirmed a payment covering MBA fees, saying regulations at the time applied but have since been tightened. Infantino "strongly denies these categorically untrue allegations."
