Meshell Ndegeocello announces 'Synonym,' a 15-track duets covers album for Blue Note

Meshell Ndegeocello's 'Synonym,' due 2 October on Blue Note, pairs her with a different guest vocalist on each of 15 cover tracks. Guests include Chaka Khan, Brandi Carlile, WILLOW, Cynthia Erivo, Cat Power, ANOHNI, Moses Sumney and Bill Callahan. Co-produced with David Gamson and Abe Rounds, it is her third Blue Note album, following 2018's 'Ventriloquism.'
