Matthew McConaughey returns to live-action feature acting after five years in 'The Rivals of Amziah King,' opening in US theatres on 14 August. His last live-action film role was in 2020's 'The Gentlemen.' The Black Bear Pictures production, directed by Andrew Patterson, premiered at SXSW in March 2025 and also stars Kurt Russell and Cole Sprouse.
