Efira presents Cannes prize-winner 'All of a Sudden' at Locarno after shared Best Actress honour

Belgian-born actress Virginie Efira received the Leopard Club Award at the 79th Locarno Film Festival on August 7, 2026, in Piazza Grande, the festival's open-air venue. She arrived from Cannes, where she shared the Best Actress prize with co-star Tao Okamoto for Ryusuke Hamaguchi's 'All of a Sudden' (Soudain) — which she also presented to Locarno audiences.
