Adam Hunter's mother accuses AFL of brain injury 'cover up' after 17-month silence

Joanne Brown, mother of late West Coast Eagles premiership player Adam Hunter, says the AFL made no contact for 17 months after his February 2025 death and CTE diagnosis. Brown called the league's conduct "disgusting" and dismissed a call from AFL executive Laura Kane as "too little, too late." Hunter, 151 games for West Coast, was one of 33 players diagnosed with CTE.
