Flo Anthony, first Black woman in Page Six and NY Post sports, dies at 74

Entertainment journalist Flo Anthony died on 6 August at 74 after a battle with cancer, Variety confirmed via Jack Hirsch, biographer of her husband, boxer Michael Spinks. She was the first Black woman in the New York Post's Page Six and sports departments, the first woman on the sports staff, and the first Black woman to write for a supermarket tabloid.
