Fox Baywatch revival wraps Season 1 production, hosts 16-year-old lifeguard on set

Fox's Baywatch revival completed full production on its first season, per Variety (7 Aug 2026). Producers invited 16-year-old rookie lifeguard Ryder Williams — who saved a 10-year-old boy from 8-to-10-foot waves at a Santa Cruz beach — to the Fox lot, where star Stephen Amell gave him a crew jacket. Showrunner Matt Nix and original creator Greg Bonann executive produce. The series is set to premiere in early 2027.
