Coventry break transfer record for fourth time this window to sign Yirenkyi

Coventry City signed Ghana midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi from Nordsjælland for a club-record €27m (£23.1m) plus up to €3m in add-ons — the fourth time they have broken their transfer record this window. The 20-year-old, Denmark's young player of the year last season and a 2025 World Cup scorer, is their fifth arrival under Frank Lampard after promotion ended a 25-year Premier League exile.
