Da'Vine Joy Randolph has signed on to star in 'Dedicated to Morris Burke,' an indie dark comedy from director Will Ropp, now filming in New York City, Variety reported on 7 August 2026. Randolph plays a widow who discovers her late husband dedicated his final novel to a man named Morris Burke, not to her. Jeremy Leder wrote the screenplay. UTA Independent Film Group is handling worldwide sales.
