On August 6, 2026, Queen Letizia, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofía arrived unannounced at Casa Esment in Palma de Mallorca and stayed nearly three hours. The nonprofit, operating since 1962, trains and employs people with intellectual disabilities and developmental disorders. The three spoke with print-shop staff about daily work, training, and career paths. The Spanish Royal Household later released official photographs.
