Tyga confirms AI use on album *$tarface*: "I don't care"

Tyga told Vibe and Rolling Stone his album *$tarface*, released 31 July 2026, was partially made with AI. He used it for 80s-style synths and a guitar solo; all writing and vocals were his own. He told Rolling Stone there is "nothing wrong" with using AI, comparing it to Auto-Tune's arrival. Pitchfork and Rolling Stone reported his remarks on 7 August 2026.
