Kurupt says Eminem quietly paid for his rehab through Dr. Dre

Rapper Kurupt told SiriusXM's Sway in the Morning that Eminem privately funded his alcoholism rehabilitation. Dr. Dre relayed the offer and Eminem's message: "Tell Kurupt I love him." Kurupt's alcoholism caused seizures and a three-week coma. Eminem, who marked 18 years sober in 2026, survived a near-fatal overdose in 2007.
