Côté premieres 'Nobody's Violence' at Locarno three years after life-saving kidney transplant
Canadian director Denis Côté world-premiered his 17th film, 'Nobody's Violence', at the 2026 Locarno Film Festival. He wrote the script — about a woman who makes a death pact to help people end their lives — as his kidney function dropped critically low. A donor friend gave him a kidney in August 2023. Heretic Films holds world sales rights.
