Oslo Police Seek Four-Week Extension of House Arrest for Crown Princess Mette-Marit's Son

Oslo Police asked a court to extend Marius Borg Høiby's house arrest by four weeks, stating "the risk of recidivism had not been sufficiently reduced to consider it appropriate to release" him. Høiby, the adult son of Norway's Crown Princess Mette-Marit, has been confined at Skaugum, the crown princely residence, since mid-July. A hearing is set for August 10.
