Werewolf's VFLEX is an $8 programmable USB-C-to-barrel-jack adapter that lets older electronics draw USB-C Power Delivery without internal modification. Interchangeable tips cost $4 each. Voltage is set via a phone app and stored in non-volatile memory. The Verge tested it on an Asus monitor, a Super Famicom, and an RCA-to-HDMI adapter, all powered from one portable battery.
