Libro.fm to add ebooks in fall 2026, giving indie bookshops a two-format digital counter

Libro.fm, which sells audiobooks through over 5,000 US independent bookshops, will add ebooks to its catalogue in fall 2026. Co-founder Mark Pearson called ebooks "a natural next step." The expansion follows partner requests for more formats. Credits will work across both audio and ebook, closing a gap left by Amazon's Kindle-only ebook dominance.
