Sam Neill completed roles in three films before his death, all due in 2027

Sam Neill, who died of pneumonia in Sydney on 13 July 2026 aged 78, filmed roles in three unreleased films before his death. Sony's live-action Legend of Zelda — his unannounced part, wrapped in April 2026 — targets May 2027. Godzilla x Kong: Supernova is set for March 2027.
