Eleven European Projects Selected for Locarno's 2026 Alliance 4 Development Co-Production Platform

Eleven feature projects from Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland were selected for the 2026 Alliance 4 Development platform at Locarno Pro, running August 7–9 within the 79th Locarno Film Festival (through August 15). The co-development program matches early-stage films with cross-border partners and financiers. Selected projects include a feminist take on the Kamasutra, an android relationship story, and a man turning into a fish. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the lineup.
