Shields-Price super fight targeted for early 2027

Undisputed heavyweight champion Claressa Shields told BBC Sport a middleweight fight with unified welterweight champion Lauren Price is likely in the first quarter of 2027. The Ring reports the pair are near a deal. Price's promoter Ben Shalom has said a two-fight agreement is in place. Shields first challenges WBA/WBC champion Kaye Scott on 15 August in Atlanta.
