England striker Ivan Toney charged with assault over Soho nightclub incident

England and Al-Ahli striker Ivan Toney, 30, has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm over an alleged incident on Wardour Street in Soho on 6 December. Charged on 31 July, he is due at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 24 September. Toney started England's World Cup bronze-medal win over France. His spokesperson said he "looks forward to clearing his name in court."
