
Uefa warns European teams could boycott World Cup as confidence in Infantino collapses
Uefa says it has lost confidence in FIFA president Gianni Infantino and warned that European teams could still boycott the World Cup. The English FA, Wales, Albania and Croatia have withdrawn support. Uefa called his aborted FIFA Forward Enterprise proposal a "shabby, back room, opaque deal." Infantino retains backing from Africa, Mexico and Argentina.
