Ex-AFLPA chief Bowden calls for Senate hearing into Geelong concussion waiver

Former AFLPA chief Joel Bowden has called for a Senate committee hearing into Geelong's secret 2024 concussion waiver, which required a player with a concussion history to assume all legal responsibility for future brain trauma. The AFL did not sanction the Cats. Bowden named senators David Pocock and Sarah Hanson-Young as potential questioners, and accused the AFLPA of being too close to the AFL.
