Every AFL and NRL club now has an alcohol sponsor, FARE report finds

FARE's "State of Play" report finds every AFL and NRL club carried an alcohol sponsor in 2026. Every NRL club and five AFL clubs also have gambling sponsors. NRL betting deals total roughly $50 million per year; AFL deals $30–40 million. Seven NRL clubs wore gambling logos on jumpers, up one on 2025. No AFL club has gambling on its guernsey.
