Gunn rules out back-to-back filming for The Batman sequels

DC Studios co-head James Gunn denied on Threads that The Batman: Part II and Part III will shoot back-to-back — filming two instalments in one extended production to save on sets and cast. Asked by a fan, he replied: "I can deny." Part II begins filming in spring; Warner Bros. has set release for 18 February 2028. (Deadline, 6 August 2026)
