Jeremy Slater to make feature directing debut on Amazon MGM horror 'Summoner'

Jeremy Slater, screenwriter of 'Mortal Kombat II' and Netflix's 'The Umbrella Academy', will make his feature directorial debut on 'Summoner', an Amazon MGM horror thriller starring Kevin Bacon as an exorcist, The Hollywood Reporter reports. The film shoots in Ireland this autumn. Andy and Barbara Muschietti produce. Amazon MGM plans a theatrical release.
