
Vera Wang and Guo Pei Named Fashion Ambassadors at China Institute of America Centennial Gala
The China Institute of America, founded in 1926 by educators including John Dewey and Hu Shih, will honour Vera Wang and Beijing-born couturier Guo Pei as fashion ambassadors at its Centennial Grand Fashion Gala on 8 September at The Pierre in New York. Yue-Sai Kan chairs; L'Oréal Paris is a table patron. A runway features seven designers spanning American and Chinese markets.
