Peter Katsis, who managed Ministry, the Backstreet Boys and the Smashing Pumpkins across four decades, has died at 69. Mark Beaven confirmed the death to Rolling Stone. At 23, Katsis discovered Ministry. In the mid-1980s he booked early Chicago house acts Marshall Jefferson and Adonis in New York and London, placing him at the centre of two American underground movements.
