Bell Media's first Versant co-commission lands on USA Network

USA Network's "Anna Pigeon," premiering August 7 at 10 p.m., is Bell Media's first co-commission with Versant — the company formed from Comcast's spin-off of its cable networks. The Alberta-shot procedural, created by Morwyn Brebner and starring Tracy Spiridakos, was part of Versant's inaugural programming slate announced May 2025. The Hollywood Reporter published a review on August 6 calling the series "forgettable," citing "leaden writing" and "flimsy plotting." Whether consolidated ratings justify a second season remains the open question.
