Lionsgate's Feltheimer backs $110 billion Paramount-WBD merger, calls delay 'the worst thing for our business'

Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer publicly endorsed the proposed $110 billion Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery merger during Lionsgate's fiscal 2027 first-quarter earnings call on 6 August 2026. He said: "Uncertainty is the worst thing for our business, and uncertainty and delay is not good for anybody." The deal faces an antitrust lawsuit from the Writers Guild and 12 state attorneys general, with trial set for March 2027.
