Uffizi Galleries Launch €50 Million, Two-Year Renovation of Entire Florentine Complex

The Uffizi Galleries in Florence announced a €50 million, two-year programme covering the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens. Work includes reinstallations, restorations, new lighting and infrastructure overhauls. Some rooms may close without guarantee during the works. The museum says the programme will let historic spaces be fully used and reroute visitor entry.
