Grown Ups 3 enters production at Netflix, ending franchise's theatrical run

Netflix confirmed on 6 August 2026 that Grown Ups 3 is in production in New Jersey, with Sandler, Rock, James, Spade, Schneider, Rudolph, Bello and Hayek Pinault reprising roles. Kyle Newacheck directs; Sandler and Tim Herlihy wrote the script. The first two films were Sony theatrical releases; the original grossed over $270 million worldwide in 2010. No release date is set.
