Sam Neill's final screen performance set for Sony and Nintendo's Legend of Zelda

Sam Neill will appear in Sony and Nintendo's live-action Legend of Zelda film, marking his final screen performance, Deadline reported on 6 August 2026. Neill died on 13 July. Wes Ball directs; the Columbia Pictures release is dated 7 May 2027. Neill also left completed work in The Last Resort and Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.
