Barbara Kopple's 'Union Town' to world premiere at Venice 83, then TIFF Docs 2026

Autlook Filmsales has acquired international rights to 'Union Town,' a 106-minute documentary by two-time Oscar winner Barbara Kopple, ahead of its world premiere in the Venice Open section of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The North American premiere follows in the TIFF Docs 2026 programme at Toronto. Filmed over three years, the film interweaves labour struggles at UPS, Amazon and among immigrant app-based bike delivery workers in New York City.
