MASP names corporate executive Flávia Almeida as new president
The Museu de Arte de São Paulo (MASP) has named Flávia Almeida as its new president, effective September 2026. Almeida, currently MASP vice-president, has been CEO of Brazilian holding company Península Participações since 2019 and sits on the board of Carrefour France. She brings corporate governance experience rather than a curatorial background. Heitor Martins remains listed as president on MASP's leadership page.
