Apple TV+ Sends a Series to Cinemas for the First Time with Widow's Bay Screenings

Apple TV+ put a streaming series into cinemas for the first time, hosting free one-night-only screenings of Widow's Bay's final three season-one episodes at select AMC Theatres in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco on August 12. Apple partnered with Rutgers University, alma mater of creator Katie Dippold, per Deadline.
