Joe Dirt animated series in development at Fox with David Spade

Fox is developing a Joe Dirt animated series, with David Spade voicing and executive producing the title character, Deadline reported on 6 August 2026. Scott Gairdner writes; Sony Pictures Television and Fox Entertainment co-produce. The project marks 25 years since the 2001 Columbia film. Development carries no guarantee of a series order.
