Star Fox remake misses Nintendo's million-seller list in first six days on sale

Nintendo's Q1 FY2027 results, released 6 August 2026, covered six days of Star Fox sales after the remake's June 2026 Switch 2 launch. Absent from Nintendo's million-seller list, the game sold fewer than one million units. Nintendo said only that it "performed steadily." Fox McCloud appeared in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, the first 2026 film to surpass US$1 billion worldwide.
