Bendita Film Sales has taken international rights to "The Fortunate Isles," a 15th-century Canary Islands colonial drama from directors Helena Girón and Samuel Delgado, per Variety. The Spanish-Greek co-production, starring newcomer Luisa Ahl Laabiad with Lou Castel and Grégoire Colin, world-premieres in TIFF's Discovery section. International rights cover territories outside the film's home market.
