Apple TV develops mystery-comedy 'Bad News Dads' starring James Marsden

Apple TV is developing 'Bad News Dads', a half-hour comedy starring and executive produced by James Marsden, per Deadline (6 August 2026). The series, from Stephen Falk, Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, follows a men's rec-league baseball team investigating a teammate's wife's suspicious death. It is based on Adam Frost's novel, due 6 April 2027. No series order has been confirmed.
