Berner Kühl wins 2026 Wessel & Vett Fashion Prize, EUR 40,000

Danish label Berner Kühl won the 2026 Wessel & Vett Fashion Prize on 6 August at the Orangeriet in Copenhagen during Copenhagen Fashion Week SS27. Founder and creative director Frederik Berner Kühl received EUR 40,000 and a bespoke artwork. The Wessel & Vett Foundation, founded in 2012 to continue the legacy of Magasin du Nord founders Theodor Wessel and Emil Vett, awards the prize annually to a Danish designer or label.
