
Netflix Lands North American Rights to Cannes Title 'Gentle Monster'
Netflix has acquired North American rights to "Gentle Monster," Marie Kreutzer's 2026 Cannes competition film starring Léa Seydoux as a pianist whose husband is arrested for possessing child sex abuse material, per The Hollywood Reporter. A theatrical run opens 30 October before streaming begins 18 November. Netflix is planning a fall awards campaign with Toronto festival stops.
