Jean Lodge, Matriarch of a Three-Generation Showbusiness Dynasty, Dies at 99

Jean Lodge, who played Queen Guinevere opposite Alan Ladd in the 1954 film "The Black Knight," has died at 99, The Hollywood Reporter reports. Her husband, Alfred Shaughnessy, developed ITV's "Upstairs, Downstairs" (1971–75). Sons Charles (Maxwell Sheffield on "The Nanny") and David (producer on "The Young and the Restless") became fixtures of American television.
