Nexstar signals possible pre-trial settlement of antitrust lawsuit blocking Tegna merger

Nexstar CEO Perry Sook told investors a pre-trial settlement of the antitrust lawsuit blocking its $6.2 billion Tegna acquisition is possible. "If we can settle the litigation prior to going to trial next year, that has a benefit to us," Sook said on the company's August 6 quarterly earnings call (Deadline).
