Barcelona join Real Madrid in pursuit of Manchester City's Rodri

Barcelona have registered interest in signing Rodri from Manchester City, challenging Real Madrid's weeks-long talks for the 2026 World Cup Golden Ball winner. City are willing to let the 30-year-old leave for around £60m with his contract expiring in June 2027, though they still hope he signs fresh terms. Rodri is also recovering from minor back surgery.
