Suno becomes first customer of Musixmatch's Sentinel copyright-screening service

Suno, the AI music generation platform, has become the first customer of Sentinel, Musixmatch's service that screens AI prompts and outputs for copyrighted lyrics in under 100 milliseconds, Musixmatch announced on August 6, 2026. Sentinel integrates via API and is built for EU AI Act and DMCA compliance. Major labels including Universal, Sony and Warner are in its rightsholder network.
