Rossellini announces new pet-history short series 'The Survival of the Friendliest' at Locarno

At the 79th Locarno Film Festival on 6 August 2026, Isabella Rossellini announced a new short-film series, "The Survival of the Friendliest," about the history of pets. As in her earlier animal shorts — "Green Porno" (Sundance Channel, 2008), "Seduce Me" (2010) and "Mammas" (2013) — she will play every role herself (The Hollywood Reporter).
